Dentures and Partials

Master Flex Flexible Partial. Removable Dental Lab

Master Flex

  • Flexibility and Comfort: - Master Flex flexible partials are crafted from a specialized nylon thermoplastic resin, allowing them to adapt and flex with the natural movements of the mouth, making them notably comfortable to wear. This flexibility also contributes to a snug fit, eliminating the need for bulky or uncomfortable metal clasps associated with traditional dentures.
  • Lightweight and Thin Design: - Master Flex material allows for the fabrication of very thin and lightweight partial dentures without compromising durability, enhancing comfort.
  • Aesthetics: - Master Flex flexible partials blend naturally with surrounding gum tissues, due to their natural hues and the absence of visible metal clasps. The baseplate's translucency can even take on the coloration of the underlying tissue, making them less noticeable than some other partial denture options.
  • Biocompatibility: - Master Flex materials are non-toxic, BPA-free, and hypoallergenic, making them a suitable option for patients with allergies or sensitivities to acrylics or other materials found in traditional dentures.
  • Retention through Undercuts: - Instead of relying solely on clasps, Master Flex partials leverage the natural undercuts in the ridges of the mouth and portions of the abutment teeth to achieve retention.
  • Repairability and Rebasability: Master Flex flexible partials are designed to be repaired and rebased, allowing for chairside adjustments and ensuring a comfortable fit as the patient's mouth changes over time.
  • Versatility: Master Flex flexible partials are a suitable choice for a variety of patients, including those who are not candidates for fixed bridgework or dental implants, those seeking a cost-effective alternative to other dental restorations, and individuals with allergies to traditional denture materials. They are also often used as a temporary or transitional solution during the healing period for dental implant procedures.

Acrylic Denture by Master Dental Studio. Removable Dental Lab

Acrylic Dentures

  • Lightweight and Comfortable: - Acrylic is a lightweight material, making acrylic dentures comfortable to wear for extended periods.
  • Customizable: - Acrylic dentures can be easily adjusted and customized to fit the unique contours of a patient's mouth, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.
  • Cost-Effective: - Compared to other denture materials, acrylic dentures are generally more affordable, making them a budget-friendly option for many.
  • Aesthetically Pleasing: - Acrylic can be fabricated to closely resemble natural gum tissue and teeth, providing a natural-looking appearance.

Metal Framework

  • Material: - Cobalt-chromium is the most common material, chosen for its strength, biocompatibility, and resistance to corrosion.
  • Longevity: - Metal partial dentures can last for 7-10 years or longer with proper care and maintenance, compared to acrylic partials that may need replacement sooner.
  • Stability and Retention: - The rigid metal structure, combined with clasps that engage with existing teeth, provides excellent stability and retention, reducing the risk of slippage or movement.
  • Thin and Lightweight Design: - Metal allows for a thinner framework than acrylic, making the denture less bulky and more comfortable to wear.
